Still egg or bird?

This summer I went canoeing on lake Tisza in East-Hungary. I stood up at five, drove to the lake, and hit the water at 7. I spent five hours in the boat and managed to photograph some birds. This one is a young bearded reedling and it looks as it hadn't decided whether it wants to be an egg or a bird 😊
