Dice snake with prey

A dice snake (Natrix tessellata) swimming with a fish it has just caught. I stood in the water of lake Balaton (Hungary) and observed several dice snakes coming to prey on small fish between these roots of a tree standing on the shore. One even brushed my leg swimming past, apparently not recognizing me as a living creature. So I could grab it by the tail and released it a minute later.
